to continue the theme from the last post, i'm loving this sneak peak on design*sponge today: rob brinson and jill sharp brinson's georgia studio in a former plow factory, with all the huge windows and wide open spaces i dream of! if only we could all live such in such uncluttered environs!

Recomfirmed once again this past holiday, I am the luckiest: Jake got me a Canon Eos Rebel T2. Seriously. Huge suprise - totally out of the blue! Of course I've always wanted one, but didn't even entertain the idea because they're so expensive. It was just sort of a hazy future dream that now is reality in my hands!

Hey, it's still the 1st for me, ok? I have a later daily schedule than most people! Maybe my life is really on Hawaiian time or something...

Accomplished in 2010:
worked on a boat
swam with turtles
visited two foreign countries (BVI, Jamaica)

moved back home
bought a car
roadtripped to Charleston
moved to Pittsburgh
got a job
went skiing
attended both Thanksgiving AND Christmas with BOTH families!


Hopes for 2011:
health insurance
more roadtrips
pay off debts
better correspondence
get rid of junk
save for Europe

and finally: go to bed earlier!!!

I tend to lean more towards the neutrals, whites, grays and naturals in home decor, but there is definitely something to be said for a jaw-dropping, boldly gorgeous room like this:
